November has been such a beautiful mix of creativity, colour, and excitement! With new patterns, new yarny adventures, and LOTS of moss stitch magic! Here’s everything that bloomed this month…
🌸 A Year in Flowers – Pattern Release & Log Book
One of the biggest highlights this month was the release of my A Year in Flowers pattern and the accompanying Log Book! I’m absolutely thrilled to see how many of you are planning to join in for 2026.
This floral temperature blanket has already become one of my most popular patterns ever! Thank you SO much for every purchase, message, and tag. Designing can often feel like sending something into the world and hoping it lands softly, so your response has meant everything. 🩷
Throughout November I shared lots of little peeks, including…
🌼 Flower squares ready to begin in January
🌈 How the colours work:
- Inner centre = lowest temperature
- White petals = always white
- Outer round = highest temperature
🌼 My organised-start excitement (yes… my yarn is READY!)
🌼 Debating whether to follow the original palette or create something new
🌼 The beautiful shade card from @laurettecraftsuk
🌡 The weather website I’ll be using daily: timeanddate.com/weather
I cannot WAIT to start this blanket with you all on January 1st!
🧣 Magic Moss Stitch Scarf – DK Versions & Yarnsmiths Fun
November was also the month of Magic Moss Stitch Scarf mania, and I have loved seeing SO many versions made by you!
I shared two DK versions using the gorgeous Pebble Haze Prints DK by @yarnsmiths from @woolwarehouse:
🧵 Scarf 1
The original version — tassels, squishiness, and all-round cosy vibes.
🧵 Scarf 2
Longer, narrower, and just as beautiful!
And the best part?
➡️ Each scarf uses just ONE 150g ball!
The DK moss stitch gives such lovely texture and drape, and I completely fell in love with the Saltburn colourway. It was the perfect companion as I headed to Harrogate for the Knit & Stitch Show – the dream yarny day out!
Oh, and the Magic Moss Stitch Scarf is now available directly from Wool Warehouse too! 🧣✨
Thank you again for all your kind messages about my special ring in memory of Poppy. Your love and kindness truly mean so much 🩷
🌼 Excitement for January
As the mornings got colder (SO cold! ❄️), my excitement for starting A Year in Flowers only grew. With the yarn, squares, shade card, and log book all ready… January can’t come soon enough!
Thank you again for supporting the pattern. I’m delighted it has already become a favourite for so many of you.
And before I go… I may have something very special coming in January! But my lips are sealed for now! 🤫✨
Bring on December! 🎄🧣✨
