March has been such a lovely month – full of colour, creativity, exciting releases, and a real feeling that spring has finally arrived! Here’s a little look at everything that’s been happening…

🌿 Advent Drift – Pattern Release!

March saw the release of my Advent Drift pattern, and I’m still smiling about it! 🥰

This design uses the beautiful Almond Stitch and was made using all 24 mini skeins (20g each) from my advent yarn. It’s been such a joy to create and even more special seeing your versions already starting to appear 💛

And even better, I managed to get two scarves out of one advent, using my leftover yarn to make a Magic Moss Stitch Scarf, which turned out beautifully 🧣✨

You can find the pattern here for the Advent Drift Scarf:

🧶 New Yarn This Month

I’ve had some lovely yarn arrivals this month too…

💛 Stitch Craft Studio Harrogate

First up, this beautiful hank of yarn from Stitch Craft Studio in Harrogate, I absolutely love it! I can’t wait to get it wound up and on my hook. And of course… I’m obsessed with my little heart stitch marker that came with it 💕

✨ Cygnet Yarns – Boho Spirit Highlights

I also received the brand new Boho Spirit Highlights yarn from Cygnet Yarns in shade Foiled 7007 — and wow, it is so pretty and shiny!

It comes in 10 different shades, and I’m really looking forward to seeing what I can create with it. Thank you so much to Cygnet Yarns 💛

🌸 Back on the Hook – Old Favourites

💕 Blossom Hearts Baby Blanket

I’ve been working on my Blossom Hearts Baby Blanket using Hobbii Acacia Prints and solids, and I love how it’s coming together!

All the squares have now been made and squared off , they just need joining now.

This pattern was first released back in March 2025, and it still makes me smile every time I see those little hearts come together 🥰

🌈 Rainbow Cuddle Blanket

Another blast from the past, my Rainbow Cuddle Blanket (originally released April 2023).

I’ve now added all the colours and I’m onto the repeats, it’s already feeling so soft and super snuggly 🫶

I’m using the gorgeous Yarnsmiths Chenille yarn from Wool Warehouse, in shades including Bubblegum, Magenta, Strong Blue, Teal, Apple Green, Primrose Yellow, Carrot and Bright Red, which gives the most beautiful squishy texture.

I can’t wait to watch the rainbow continue to grow row by row 🌈✨

🌈 Bust the Blues CAL – Thank You

A huge thank you to everyone who took part in the Bust the Blues CAL 💛

What an incredible journey it has been! From the very first chains to the final border. It has been such a joy crocheting along with you all ✨

Seeing your blankets come to life, your colour choices, and your creativity has truly meant so much 💙

A big thank you as well to Black Sheep Wools for hosting such a wonderful CAL 🐑💛

If you’re still finishing (or just starting!), the pattern is still available for free on their website 🧶

Check out some of the gorgeous finished blankets below from Facebook and Instagram! I absolutely love seeing them all!

💐 Mother’s Day

I had such a lovely Mother’s Day with the girls 💕

Thank you so much for my beautiful gifts! You girls really are the best 💛
And I have the best mum too, feeling very lucky all round 🥰

🌸 Life Lately

Spring has finally made an appearance, and I am here for it! ☀️

We opened up the caravan, which was so lovely, and I even managed a few peaceful days away on my own with the boys. Sunshine, fresh air, and a bit of quiet time, just what I needed 🐾💛

Back at home, the garden is starting to bloom, and it’s so nice to see everything coming back to life again 🌷

✨ Looking Ahead

March has been full of colour, creativity, and so many lovely moments, and I’m really excited to see what April brings 🧶🌸

Thank you so much for being here, for your support, your messages, and your makes! It truly means the world to me! Helen💛
